I had no idea I was going to a Queens of the Stone Age concert until hours before. I usually avoid going to concerts during the week, but on Monday night, my friend Jim and I were driving to the Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC).
We grabbed a few drinks at Rogue Island , a farm-to-table restaurant that carried only local brews and spirits, and headed over to the concert. I only knew a few QOTSA songs beforehand, but it was a great time.
