"Boy meets girl. Boy falls in love. Girl doesn't."
Tom Hansen has postponed his dream job as an architect to earn money as a greeting card writer in LA. Here, he meets Summer Finn, the new secretary from Michigan and falls in love at first sight. The movie follows Tom and Summer through their erratic relationship out of sequence--Day 1, then maybe Day 48, then Day 10, for example. You may see Tom freaking out about Summer to his friends in one scene, then all of a sudden see Tom and Summer holding hands. This new angle of story telling makes the movie into an intriguing, fresh type of romance.
A definite must-see for the hopeless romantic.
