Working Hard (Or Hardly Working?) in Newport

I've been working a lot, splitting time across the bridges between Newport and Narragansett, but at the same time it doesn't feel like work at all.

It's hard to complain when your jobs involve social media, cute clothes, amateur photography and fun events.

Laura Jean Denim Shop still has a great selection of white jeans, but they're going fast!
I'm getting into the habit of running to A Market and buying Multi-Green Kombucha before going to Laura Jean Denim Shop for work. It's hard not to feel like a better person after drinking it.
Crosswynds Traders has been getting in a lot of great handbags from Urban Outfitters and American Eagle lately. I want all of them...
KC Shoes at the Pier recently received a new shipment of Tees by Tina tanks, skirts, and dresses, as well as Douglas Paquette jewelry.

On Tuesday night, Newport Life Magazine hosted a launch party for their July issue at The Deck.

At Newport Life Magazine's launch party, they had a raw bar. I learned two things about eating raw oysters: they are delicious, but they are difficult to eat politely in public.
Last night, several Newport clothing and lifestyle boutiques hosted a shopping event at OceanCliff.  My favorite item at the event were the sandals by Grace Di Meglio. They are handmade, 100% leather and extremely comfortable, not to mention adorable!
